A Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session on Action Research was successfully organized by the School of Education, Lincoln University College, on 17th October 2025. The session aimed to strengthen the professional competencies and research capacity of academic staff through the application of action research for continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
The workshop was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fariza Puteh Behak, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Major Language Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and Honorary Visiting Professor, School of Education, LUC. One of Dr. Fariza’s areas of specialization is Action Research, making her session both insightful and inspiring. She was joined by Prof. Dr. Lubna Ali, Pro-Dean, School of Education, LUC, who co-facilitated the session.
The CPD offered valuable insights into Action Research as a tool for reflective practice, professional growth, and pedagogical innovation, empowering educators to transform classroom practices through inquiry and reflection.
