Conference: WET2025 – International Conference on Water, Energy, and Technology

Location: Nagaoka, Japan
Date: 4th – 6th July 2025

On 4th to 6th July 2025, I had the opportunity to attend the WET2025 International Conference held in Nagaoka, Japan, where I also participated in the 5th Advanced Eco-Environmental Technology (AEET) Workshop / Japan – JWP Symposium. This international platform brought together experts and researchers in the fields of water, energy, and environmental technology, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration. During the conference, I presented my research paper entitled “Adsorptive Treatment of Fibreboard Wastewater Using Activated Carbon Synthesized from Oil Palm Petioles,” which is currently under review for publication in the Journal of Water and Environment Technology (JWET). The presentation was well received, with valuable feedback and discussions that will support the advancement of my research in sustainable wastewater treatment. Participation in this event has greatly contributed to my professional development, enhanced research visibility, and strengthened academic networks. I am sincerely grateful to the university management for their support and for enabling my involvement in this impactful international engagement
