The Faculty of Applied Science, Lincoln University College, Malaysia hosted its first annual Eid al-Fitr potluck on April 17, 2024. Students from various batches brought a wide array of delicious homemade dishes, showcasing their culinary skills and cultural diversity. The event served as a wonderful opportunity for students, lecturers, and faculty members, around 20 participants in total, to connect and celebrate together.
Social gatherings like this potluck offer a meaningful way for the department community to bond outside of academic settings. It also provided a platform for non-Muslim members to engage with and appreciate the traditions of Eid al-Fitr, fostering inclusivity and mutual respect.
