The School of Medicine, Lincoln University College successfully organized the MEDIC ECO FAIR 2026 from 19th January 2026 to 29th January 2026 at the 3rd Floor, MAS Campus, Lincoln University College. The event was aligned with the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” and aimed to promote environmental awareness while fostering essential competencies among medical students.

The opening ceremony on 19th January 2026 was officiated by the Pro-Chancellor of Lincoln University College, Prof. Datuk Dr. Hajah Bibi Florina Abdullah, together with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Zarina Binti Awang. Their presence underscored the University’s commitment to sustainability, holistic medical education, and student development beyond the classroom.

The MEDIC ECO FAIR 2026 served as an academic and professional enrichment platform, nurturing leadership, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills among medical students. It also provided early clinical exposure through an organized visit to Hospital Tanjong Karang, allowing students to gain insights into real-world clinical environments and patient care practices, bridging pre-clinical learning with clinical application.

A variety of student-centered academic competitions were conducted throughout the event, including Public Speaking, Poster Presentation, Debate, and Clinical Case Presentation. These activities were designed to enhance students’ clinical reasoning, evidence-based thinking, advocacy skills, and professionalism—core attributes expected of future medical practitioners.

The closing ceremony, held on 29th January 2026, was officiated by the Chancellor of Lincoln University College, Prof. Dr. Norman Madsen and the Founder President of Lincoln University College, Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, together with Director of Lincoln University College, Mdm. Jaya, and COO/Bursar of Lincoln University College, Mdm. Aslin Hafiza Binti Ali. The ceremony featured inspirational student reflections and motivational speeches, highlighting the impact of the programme on students’ personal growth, confidence, and professional identity formation.

The School of Medicine extends its sincere appreciation to the Lincoln University College Management for their continuous support and guidance throughout the successful planning and execution of MEDIC ECO FAIR 2026. The event stands as a meaningful initiative that reinforces the School’s commitment to producing socially responsible, environmentally conscious, and competent future doctors.
