Strengthening Bonds and Promoting Sustainability at Bagan Lalang Beach

On 14th June 2025, the Pre-Clinical students and lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine participated in a day trip to Bagan Lalang Beach, Sepang, as part of the Medic Eco Fair (MEF) 2025. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness, community engagement, and team building, while also strengthening the bond between students and faculty members outside the academic setting.

The trip featured a series of fun, meaningful, and interactive activities designed to foster teamwork and instill a sense of social and environmental responsibility. Participants took part in a beach-cleaning initiative, contributing to the preservation of the local ecosystem by collecting litter and promoting sustainable practices.

In addition to the environmental efforts, the program also included a variety of recreational activities, such as beach games, a lively tug-of-war competition, and a potluck shared between students and staff.

Overall, the MEF 2025 trip to Bagan Lalang Beach proved to be a meaningful and impactful experience, fostering stronger bonds, cherished memories, and a shared commitment to environmental and community values.
