On February 28, 2025, the School of Education at Lincoln University College hosted an eye-opening online workshop titled “AI for Academic Research”, facilitated by Mr. Mohanad Amin. Held via Microsoft Teams, the session introduced participants to cutting-edge AI tools designed to enhance research efficiency. Mr. Amin demonstrated how platforms like ChatGPT, Elicit, SciSpace, and Consensus can simplify everything from topic selection to thesis writing. Highlights included identifying research gaps, streamlining literature reviews, and a live demo of a “magic platform” that accelerates the writing process. The workshop drew an international audience and featured active discussions and hands-on tool exploration. Attendees left inspired and equipped with practical skills to integrate AI into their academic research journeys.
