Lincoln University College successfully hosted the International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with strong international academic and industry participation, including delegates from Shinawatra University, Thailand, and India.
The conference formally commenced with the Presidential Address by the Honourable President, Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, underscoring the critical role of higher education institutions in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through research, innovation, and global collaboration.
The event featured keynote addresses by:
- Kapil Sharma, Deputy General Manager, HCLTech, who shared industry perspectives on sustainability and technology-driven innovation.
- Dr. Doris Ogueri, Shinawatra University, Thailand, who highlighted global academic and research-led approaches to sustainable development.
- Dr. Archna Prasad, Principal, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, India, who emphasized institutional leadership and women-centric academic contributions towards sustainable development.
A keynote address was also delivered by Prof. Dr. Midhun Chakkaravarthy, Dean, School of AI Computing and Multimedia, focusing on interdisciplinary research, innovation, and academic leadership in achieving sustainable development outcomes.
