TESOL Professional Training Course 2026 – Day 3

The third face-to-face session of the TESOL programme, *Teaching Reading and Writing Skills Module, was delivered by **Ms. Koasalyiah*.

Participants explored critical reading strategies and product, process, and genre-based approaches to writing. Reading activities focused on helping students identify key ideas, make inferences, evaluate texts, and monitor their understanding through metacognitive strategies. Through collaborative writing activities, peer review, and classroom-design tasks, participants examined practical ways to help students organise ideas, develop academic arguments, integrate sources, and use feedback to improve their writing.

We were pleased to see their active participation and exchange of classroom experiences, strengthening connections between educators from Malaysia and Uzbekistan. 🇲🇾🤝🇺🇿

This activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education through professional development for educators and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through academic exchange between Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
