LINCOLN IN ACTION | MOU SIGNING: LINCOLN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE & BUKHARA STATE UNIVERSITY

On 9 October 2026, Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bukhara State University, Uzbekistan. The signing took place at the School of Education on the final day of the International Academic Exchange & Professional Development Programme, held from 7–9 October 2026 under the theme “Knowledge Beyond Borders, People for a Better Tomorrow.”

The agreement followed three days of academic engagement between LUC and academics from Urgench State University, Bukhara State University, and Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute. The programme included a workshop on Innovative Teaching & Learning Strategies for 21st-Century Higher Education, an International Symposium on Emerging Trends in Linguistics and English Language Studies, and discussions on joint research, publications, co-authorship, and academic exchange.

The MoU formalises the relationship between the two universities and provides a foundation for continued cooperation in teaching, research, and academic mobility. The signing was followed by the closing ceremony, certificate presentation, and group photograph.
