The School of Social Science, Art & Humanities, Lincoln University College, Malaysia organised the Asia Rising 2026 International Conference themed “Humanities: Contributions to Sustainable Society” on 20–21 August 2026 via hybrid mode.
The conference featured distinguished keynote speakers, including His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Olaniunji Syle Gambari, High Commissioner of the Federal republic of Nigeria to Malaysia and Prof. Dr. Ravichandran, Department of Strategic Studies and International Relations, Universiti Kebangsaan Malysia (UKM), along with Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Founder & President, Prof. Datuk Dr. Hjh. Bibi Florina Abdullah, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Datuk Dr. Mohd Yusoff A. Bakar, CEO, Mr. Mohd Nikmat Wahib, Registrar, and Assoc. Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), LUC.
The international event brought together around 103 participants from Malaysia, China, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan to exchange knowledge on the role of humanities in promoting sustainable development.
