Lincoln University College, Malaysia and Commonwealth Youth Network, Sri Lanka Signed MoU to Strengthen Educational Cooperation

On June 26, 2025, Lincoln University College, Malaysia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commonwealth Youth Network (CYN), Sri Lanka aiming to foster academic partnerships, promote global knowledge exchange, and enhance cross-border learning opportunities for students and educators from both the nations.

The MoU was signed between Dato (Amb) Dr. Mohd Yusoff Bin A. Bakar, Vice Chancellor & CEO, LUC and Mr. Gayan Rajapaksha, Chairman, CYN, Sri Lanka, during a six-day educational visit by a 45-member Sri Lankan delegation comprising of students, lecturers, and counsellors.

The MoU signing ceremony featured key academic leaders including Prof. Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), and Prof. Dr. Manual Selvaraj Bexci, Pro-Dean, School of Social Science, Arts & Humanities, LUC, Malaysia.

In addition to formal proceedings, academic sessions were held on topics of psychology and business, led by Dr. Shahnaz Sheibani, Head of Psychology Department, and Prof. Dr. Oyyappan Duraipandi, Pro-Dean, School of Business and Management. A special introductory session titled “Get to Know Lincoln” was conducted by Nurul Aini Abdullah, Lecturer of Mass Communication.
